- 2 lbs ground chuck
- 1 each onion diced
- 1 can tomato sauce 15 ounce
- 1 pkg cream cheese 8 ounce, softened
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded, divided
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 pkg bacon 12 ounce, cooked, drained, and crumbled
- 1 pkg frozen tater tots 32 ounce
- 1 cup grape tomatoes quartered
- 1/2 cup sliced dill pickles halved
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare a 9x13 casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the onion, salt and pepper over medium high heat until the meat is crumbled. Drain well.
Return the meat to the skillet. Add the tomato sauce, cream cheese, 1 cup cheddar cheese, and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until melted.
Transfer the ground beef mixture to the casserole dish. Top with the remaining cheese, the crumbled bacon, and a layer of tater tots.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the tater tots are browned and the edges bubble.
Top with tomatoes and pickles. Serve while hot.
To freeze: Cover tightly with plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Freeze for up to 6 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before baking.
