Southern Deviled Eggs
Want to make some southern deviled eggs that are easy, fast, healthy and yummy? Use this recipe for your next picnic or potluck.
- 1 doz eggs boiled, peeled, halved with yokes reserved
- 3-4 tbsp sugar-free mayonnaise depending on desired consistency
- 2 tbsp dill relish can substitute sweet pickle relish
- 1/2 tsp celery salt
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp yellow mustard
- salt to taste
Mash yokes into crumbles.
Add 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise and remaining ingredients to the egg yolks. Stir together and test for seasoning and consistency. Adjust seasonings and add more mayo if needed.
Transfer yolk mixture into a piping bag fitted with a large open star tip.
Press yolk mixture into egg white halves.
Refrigerate until ready to serve.
